Let me tell you a little story.
When we hosted our first-ever three-day Hive Market weekend, our building wasn’t even open yet. We were still deep in renovations—tools inside, dust in the air, and a million to-dos on the list. So we set up tents outside, partnered with a few incredible vendors, and hoped someone would show up.
It was 90+ degrees. Another big event had half the neighborhood blocked off. We weren’t easy to find. But you came anyway.
We had new friends stop by, browse handmade goods, asked about what we were building, met new makers, and reminded us exactly why this whole dream started in the first place. It wasn’t about big crowds or polished perfection—it was about people showing up with heart. It was about connection.
Thanks to your support, we’re officially moving forward. By our next event on July 19th, we’ll be soft launching the Hive Market gift shop while we continue organizing, stocking shelves, and remodeling the building for a full grand opening by the end of the year.
Right now, we’re in full prep mode—planning the launch, updating the website, hiring a photographer, ordering new merchandise, and planning to decorate the shop to feel like something special the moment you walk in. It’s a little chaotic, but it’s real. And we’re so excited to share it.
Here’s what’s coming ahead of the next event, July 19th:
- Shop Hours: Monday–Friday 10–5 and Saturdays 11–4
- Vendor Events: Every 3rd weekend of the month, May through October

Vendor Spotlight: Moments That Made Us Smile
There were so many highlights from our June event. Here are a few that warmed our hearts:
The Mixing Bowl told us they’re creating a Buzzy Cake using our Hive Craft Cocktails Lemon Drop flavor. That’s right—cocktail kit turned dessert inspiration.
A local jelly maker stopped by while running a food truck and shared big goals for what’s next.
A brand-new smoothie truck (Soul Phuel) pulled up with the best energy (and the best drinks to beat the heat).
A father-son-in-law duo set up same day to serve up incredible buffalo chicken egg rolls—hands down unforgettable.
And I got a custom bracelet from Hannah (Good Spark Permanent Jewelry) that I wear with pride. It’s the little moments like these that stick with you.
Supporting other makers is what this is all about. It’s uplifting, energizing, and exactly the kind of thing we want to keep building around here.
We’re not just launching a shop—we’re building something with meaning.
