There’s a moment in every community where small sparks turn into something brighter — where creativity meets collaboration, and where a simple idea becomes a shared vision. For us at the Hive Market, that moment is now.
We are honored and excited to officially announce our partnership with the City of Cheviot — a partnership rooted in one shared goal: to help build a walkable, thriving, connected community that celebrates small business, local art, and the human connection that makes neighborhoods come alive.
Why We Build
Community doesn’t just happen — it’s built. It’s crafted, shaped, and nurtured by the people who care enough to show up. Every time you choose to shop small, attend a local market, listen to a neighborhood musician, or share a meal from a local food truck, restaurant, or pub, you’re investing in the world you want to live in.
The Hive Market was founded on that belief — that when we create spaces for people to gather, to share, and to celebrate, we’re not just supporting local business… we’re weaving the fabric of something lasting.
We believe that to truly belong somewhere, you have to help build it. That’s what this partnership with Cheviot is all about — being part of something bigger than any single event or business. It’s about creating the kind of city where people know their neighbors, where storefronts shine with local pride, and where creativity doesn’t just survive — it thrives.
A Season of Celebration
We’re so proud to join forces with the City of Cheviot’s Santa Village & Holiday Market this December — a celebration that perfectly embodies the spirit of togetherness. Families will stroll the streets, local vendors will fill the air with warmth and color, and the community will come alive in the glow of the season.
And we’re just getting started. Looking ahead to 2026, The Hive Market is thrilled to be part of WestFest (June 19–21) and other upcoming events that highlight the incredible creativity and entrepreneurial spirit found right here in our neighborhood. We’re already hard at work behind the scenes — organizing, planning, and building — because we believe this next year will be a defining one for Cheviot.
The Heart of the Hive
To every artist, crafter, food truck owner, musician, maker, and dreamer — thank you. You are the heartbeat of our community. Your courage to create and your willingness to share your gifts shape the world around us in ways that can’t be measured in sales or attendance. You remind us that joy, connection, and creativity are all forms of impact.
To our patrons, supporters, and neighbors — thank you for believing in local. Every visit, every purchase, and every kind word helps small businesses continue doing what they love. You are not just customers; you are co-creators of this movement toward community-driven growth.
Be Part of What You Want to See
At the Hive Market, we believe in a simple truth: you build what you want to be part of. If you want to live in a community filled with art, music, and opportunity — you support the people creating it. If you want thriving main streets, you show up for them.
We’re grateful to everyone who chooses to show up — to the city leaders who see the potential in collaboration, to the local vendors who bring energy and passion to every market, and to the families who take the time to shop, connect, and smile. Together, we are proving that small steps, taken by many, can change everything.
